Promotional Products: The Guide to Choosing the Right Ones

Choosing the Right Promotional Products: The Guide

A good promotional product keeps your logo in front of your customers for months. A bad one ends up in the bin. Here's how to choose branded merchandise that really makes an impact.

1. Start with your audience

A successful item is one that suits the person receiving it. For executives: an elegant notebook or a power bank. For the general public at a trade show: a pen, a tote bag or a reusable cup. For staff: an insulated water bottle or branded clothing.

2. Choose usefulness first

The golden rule: the more an item gets used, the more your brand gets seen. Water bottles, bags, pens, notebooks, phone stands and USB sticks dominate drawers and desks everywhere. A useful item means everyday visibility.

3. Go eco-friendly

Items made from recycled, sustainable or French-made materials send a strong signal about your values — and they're increasingly expected. A great way to combine communication with genuine commitment.

4. Get the branding right

A poorly printed logo undermines the whole item. Depending on the material and shape, we choose the right technique: pad printing, screen printing, laser engraving or hot stamping. The finish needs to be crisp and long-lasting.

5. Treat the item as a gift

Trade show giveaways, welcome kits, end-of-year gifts: a well-presented item (sometimes with a personal note) has far more impact than merchandise handed out at random.
