A four-panel custom folding screen
The custom folding screen is built on four hinged panels. Folded, it takes the width of a single panel; opened out, it stands on its own thanks to the angle set at the hinges. That is what separates a folding screen from a flat board: no wall, no fixing, no complicated weighting. You move it from one space to another during the day, which no fixed partition allows.
Where to use it
In a shop it screens an improvised fitting area or hides stock held in an open back room. On a trade stand it closes the side of a corner space and creates a quiet corner for conversation, away from the aisle.
Outdoors it edges a terrace, shelters a queue from side wind, or marks out a catering area during a village event.
In a public or community setting it backs a registration desk, separates two workshops, or carries notices during a meeting.
Artwork
Seen head on, the four panels read as one continuous surface; seen from an angle, they read as four separate planes. Two approaches work: a single large image spread across the whole screen, or one message per panel, which is easier to read while walking past. It pairs naturally with the rest of our custom outdoor advertising supports.
Preparing your file
Supply CMYK artwork at 300 DPI, with 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. Keep text clear of the hinges, where the eye loses the line, and place key elements at eye level.
