Which fabric for your XXL roll-up banner?
The XXL roll-up banner is printed on M1 flame-retardant fabric. That French fire classification is frequently required by show organisers and by managers of public venues, and the larger the printed surface, the more often the question comes up, which is why it is the only material offered here. Across two metres it has a second advantage: a tensioned fabric stays flat, with no waves and no visible roll marks under grazing light, and that matters a great deal when the design is used as a photo backdrop.
Available sizes
Two sizes, both two metres wide. The 200 x 199 cm is the standard, almost square version, suited to a classic stand backdrop behind a counter or a welcome desk. The 200 x 210 cm premium version gains eleven centimetres in height; that extra lifts the top of the design above head level and stops a logo placed high up from being cut off by a row of visitors.
Single-sided printing and setting up
Printing runs on the front only, across the full width: this is a banner you place against a partition, not a panel people walk around. Two units side by side cover four linear metres and form a continuous backdrop, provided the designs are planned together and the join is allowed for. Keep the centre of the design quiet, because that is where the people being photographed will stand. Our XXL roll-up section and the wider roll-up range cover the alternatives.
Preparing your artwork
Supply a 300 DPI file in CMYK, with 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. On a surface this size, a low-resolution image shows immediately: start from a generous source file rather than an image taken from a website. Keep the lower part plain, as it rolls into the cassette.
2M Numérique at your side
These large formats are printed in our workshop in Manciet, in the Gers: 100 % Made In Occitanie, local manufacturing described in our responsible approach.
