Which fabric for your branded parasol?
The canopy is a 150 g/m2 knitted fabric. The light weight has a practical benefit outdoors: it dries quickly after a shower and folds away without trapping damp in the creases. Knit takes strong solid colours well, which matters for an identity seen from across a square. Prefer clear colours to fine gradients: on a sloping panel in full sun, contrast is what carries.
Available sizes
The 180 cm diameter round covers a terrace table and its four chairs. It suits tight rows where each parasol has to stay within its own table footprint.
The 200 cm diameter round gives more shade and a larger printing area; it works for market pitches, welcome points and terraces with more room.
Model, base and artwork
The valanced version adds a border all round, putting your name at eye level for someone standing, where the canopy alone speaks mainly to seated customers. For weighting, take the parasol base if you have nothing to fix it to, or the no-base option if you are reusing an existing stand or a table hole. On a terrace with several parasols, keeping one design across all of them reads better than alternating messages. See the rest of our outdoor advertising range.
Preparing your file
Work in CMYK at 300 DPI, with 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. Artwork built panel by panel gives a better result than one image spread over the whole round: the seams cut through continuous patterns.
