Which print material for your hanging banner sign?
Printing is done on blockout satin fabric, a satin textile that light does not pass through. That matters on a sign viewed from below and often lit from several directions: the two faces stay separate, no artwork ghosts through from the other side, and blacks stay black. The “None” entry in the configurator covers orders where the fabric is not included.
Available sizes
Square signs come in 1500x800, 3000x1000 and 4500x1500 mm. The first suits a small stand or a retail corner, the second a standard show stand, the third a large hall where you need to be seen from the entrance. Round signs follow the same logic at 1500, 3000 and 4500: a circle reads from every side, with no main face, which works well for an island stand in the middle of an aisle.
Rigging and installation
Slings are ordered in kits of 3, 4 or 5. The number of fixing points depends on the shape, the size and on what the building structure allows, so check with the organiser or the venue before ordering. Choose “None” if you already own your rigging. Ordering the print alone is also possible, an option that suits anyone who already has the frame: the structure stays in storage and only the fabric travels, folded, from one event to the next.
Preparing your artwork
Send a 300 DPI file in CMYK, with 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. Seen from a distance and from below, a hanging sign tolerates neither long copy nor fine typefaces: a name, a symbol and a recognisable colour are enough.
