Which paper for your presentation folders?
Two stocks, and the message decides. Silk coated 350 gsm gives a closed surface, clean colours and good rigidity once creased: this is the folder that still looks right after several meetings. Recycled 300 gsm reads matter, less bright, with a visible texture that fits a public body, an association or a company talking about its practices. In both cases creasing comes before folding: the fibre is compressed first, which prevents cracking along dark solids. Other desk items are grouped in our stationery section.
Available formats
A4 with 2 panels is the standard folder: a cover, an inner flap and room for a set of A4 documents.
A4 with 3 panels adds a third panel, useful to separate the commercial offer from technical appendices or to hold a business card.
A5 with 2 panels takes folded documents or A5 sheets. It is more compact and suits short handovers and trade shows where the folder is carried all day.
Creasing is selected separately: A3 open for an A4 closed folder, A4 open for an A5 closed folder, or 63 x 29.7 cm open, with single or double creases depending on how thick the contents will be. The combinations are listed under advertising presentation folders.
Finishes and double-sided printing
Print the cover only, or both sides to carry your details or a subtle pattern inside. Gloss lamination intensifies colour, matt softens it, soft touch adds a velvet feel. On black or very dark backgrounds, scratch-resistant matt lamination limits marks and fingerprints on a folder that passes from hand to hand.
Preparing your artwork
Work at 300 DPI in CMYK, with 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. Follow the template for the creasing you choose: fold lines and flap cuts must stay clear of text. Outline your fonts and supply flat artwork, unfolded.
