A counter display stand, for which message?
The counter display stand works on proximity. Placed within arm's reach, it is read during a wait: a current offer, an accepted payment method, a change of opening hours, a QR code to a booking or review page. The message has to work in one glance: a headline, one line of explanation, an image. Anything needing a full paragraph belongs on a poster or a leaflet. Other counter and window materials sit in our point of sale section.
Available formats
A5 fits beside a till without taking over the worktop. It suits short notices: tipping, contactless payment, today's addition.
A4 is the most common size. Readable from a metre away, it holds an image and a headline without crowding, on a counter or a reception desk.
A3 is for wide counters and lobbies. Visible from further off, it suits an announcement people should see before they reach the desk.
Orientation and finishes
Portrait suits text-led messages, with a headline above and an image below. Landscape gives more width to a photograph or a row of products. Gloss lamination lifts the colours and wipes clean, which matters near a till or a food service point. Matt lamination removes reflections under direct light and stays readable in a sunlit window.
Preparing your artwork
Supply a 300 DPI CMYK file with 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. Outline your fonts. Check that any QR code is at least two centimetres across and keeps clear space around it, or phones will struggle to read it.
