Brown or white kraft for your paper bags?
Brown kraft shows the fibre as it is. It suits artisan identities, delicatessens and growers. On that warm base, full-colour printing softens slightly: colours take on a gentler tone, which is often part of the intention. White ink, by contrast, cuts sharply across the brown and gives a very graphic result.
White kraft starts from a neutral base. Full colour is more faithful, photographic images stay readable, and a logo built on precise colours is respected. Fashion, cosmetics and homeware brands usually go this way.
Available sizes
The small sizes 18 x 8 x 24, 22 x 10 x 30 and 24 x 11 x 32 cm cover counter purchases: jewellery, books, small bottles, pastries.
The tall, narrow sizes 18 x 8 x 39, 28 x 12 x 36, 32 x 16 x 36 and 40 x 11 x 32 cm suit bottles, rolled posters and elongated items.
The large sizes 26 x 17 x 26, 31 x 20 x 32, 32 x 20 x 32, 36 x 26 x 35 and 52 x 16 x 42 cm take folded textiles, wrapped tableware or trade-show orders.
Handles and double-sided printing
Flat handles give a crisp outline and suit mid-sized bags. Twisted handles sit more comfortably in the hand and take heavier loads. Printing on one side is enough when the bag is seen face-on in store; printing both sides pays off once the bag travels through town and is read from either side. The rest of our packaging range completes the set.
Preparing your file
300 DPI, CMYK, 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. Allow for the gusset folds: artwork on the sides is read at an angle, and a logo straddling an edge breaks. Keep the essentials centred on the front panel.
