Which board is used for the bollard cover?
One material, chosen for the job: E-flute corrugated board with a white liner. E-flute is a fine flute, so the surface stays even, without the ripples a coarse flute leaves under printing. The white liner gives a neutral base: colours come out clean, solids stay uniform and small type holds together. Thin as it is, the board is rigid once folded into shape, yet light enough for one person to move the cover from one aisle to another.
Available sizes
Both versions stand 160 cm tall and 50 cm wide, which puts the message at eye level for a standing customer. They differ in depth. At 50 x 11 x 160 cm there is room for a bollard, a totem or a substantial post. The flatter 50 x 06 x 160 cm version is meant for slim items: an upright, a panel edge, a shopfront border. Measure the section you need to cover before deciding, since depth is the one dimension you cannot make up for later.
Installation and uses
The cover goes up by hand and comes down just as quickly, which suits campaigns that change: sales, a launch, a local festival. It hides an unattractive fixture and puts it to work at the same time. Other in-store displays are gathered in our point-of-sale section.
Preparing your artwork
300 DPI, CMYK, 2 mm of bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. Work on the flat plan and mark the vertical edges: a logo placed on a corner breaks in two. The lower part is often hidden by a display unit or by passing shoppers, so keep the important message between 80 and 150 cm from the floor.
