Which height for your feather beach flag?
The feather is the slimmest of the advertising flags: for the same printed area it stands taller than a teardrop and reads over obstacles. At 2.03 m and 2.40 m it sits beside a reception desk or in a lobby. At 3.08 m and 3.51 m it covers most exhibitions, clearing stand partitions without blocking the lighting. The 4.65 m height is for large events and roadside pitches, where you need to be seen from tens of metres away. The family is gathered in our feather flag section, inside the wider beach flag range.
Edge binding, a visible detail
A feather flag can take a binding, the strip sewn along the outer edge of the sail. Black binding underlines the outline and hides the small variations that appear at the edge after repeated rigging. Printed binding picks up your colours and carries the design right to the edge, which helps when your identity rests on one flat colour. Without binding, the flag keeps a finer line and a quieter outline.
Bases and double-sided printing
Ten bases match different surfaces: a ground spike for grass and sand, a car foot to slide under a wheel, a parasol foot and a four-arm foot with ring for terraces, 9 kg and 13 kg plate bases on hard ground, and stackable bases from 6 kg to 18 kg for windy pitches. You can also order without a base. Print single-sided when the flag stands against a wall, or double-sided when visitors walk past on both sides.
Preparing your file
Export at 300 DPI in CMYK, with 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. The sail is very narrow, so set your type vertically or stack short words, and leave the sleeve edge clear. Aim for high contrast: the flag is read while moving and often against the light. Outline your logos.
