Which cover for your spiral-bound diary?
The cover is the only part on show all year, so it carries your identity. It is printed on 300 g/m² satin coated board, rigid enough to protect the 154 inside pages. Left plain, it reads naturally and takes on a patina with use. Gloss lamination saturates the colours and lifts a high-contrast logo, which suits photographic covers. Matt lamination gives a softer, tactile surface and limits fingerprints on dark backgrounds. Either film protects the board from the wear of a bag and a desk.
Available formats
A5 closed, opening to A4, is the desk size: a full week reads at a glance and there is still room to write. A6 closed, opening to A5, fits a jacket pocket or a laptop bag, which makes it the choice for trades, sales teams and anyone working away from a desk. Decide on real use — desk or field — rather than on bulk.
Finishing, binding and dates
Two details set the tone. Rounded corners soften the outline and survive a bag better; square corners keep a classic line. The spiral comes with black rings, discreet on any cover, or white rings, more graphic on pale designs. Two date ranges are available: the calendar year, January 2026 to December 2026, and the academic year, September 2025 to August 2026, which suits schools, clubs and associations. Preparing your file
Build the cover at 300 DPI in CMYK, with 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. Allow for the bound edge: shift logo and text away from the spiral side so nothing important is punched through. Outline your fonts and supply one file per side.
