Which material for your custom paper cups?
There is nothing to decide here: the cup is made from PE-lined coated board, printed 1/0. The board gives the cup its rigidity, the thin polyethylene film sits on the drink side, and full-colour printing goes on the outer wall, the surface people see and hold. It is the standard build for a drinking cup, and it keeps things consistent: colour reproduction does not shift between capacities, so your logo looks the same across the whole range.
Capacities available
The 100/120 ml cup is the espresso size: bar counters, seminar breaks, reception coffee machines. The 150/180 ml cup covers long coffee and tea, and is the most versatile in an office. The 200/250 ml cup takes hot chocolate, soup or a soft cocktail at an opening. The 330/400 ml cup is for cold drinks and larger servings: festivals, club bars, farmers' markets. Many orders combine two capacities, one hot and one cold.
Preparing your file
Work at 300 DPI in CMYK, with 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. The cup is printed flat on a tapered blank and then rolled: avoid thin frames running along the edge, and keep text away from the top and bottom, since the rim and the base are not printable areas. Tell us the capacity you want and we will send you the matching template. A solid colour field and a logo readable from a distance work better than a busy design.
