Which custom shipping box do you need?
Every size uses the FEFCO 427 shape, a one-piece folder with no separate lid to assemble. The decision therefore comes down to the volume you have to protect and the message you want to deliver on opening. Allow for the product, its packing and a little clearance: an item squeezed into its box gets damaged at the corners, while an item with too much room travels around in transit.
Available sizes
Size S takes small items, jewellery, cosmetics, spare parts. Size M covers most everyday shipments. The M tracked-letter variant follows the French tracked-letter template, useful when the shipping method is settled before the packaging is. Size M+ adds height for folded textiles or bulkier goods, and size L holds several items or a complete gift set. The full range sits in our packaging section.
Print areas and closure
Seven print areas are available, from the outside of the lid alone to entirely different artwork inside and out. The outside earns recognition in the courier's pile; the inside is only revealed at the moment of opening, which is where a thank-you note, a referral code or return instructions usually belong. For closure, the classic version is taped as needed, while the adhesive strip with tear tape seals without tools and opens cleanly.
Preparing your artwork
300 DPI, CMYK, 2 mm of bleed and a 4 mm safety margin, laid out on the supplied cutting plan. Locate the flaps and creases: a logo cut by a fold loses its legibility. Leave a clear area for the shipping label, which will be applied somewhere on the top face.
