Which board suits your bottle gift box?
The 330 gsm kraft board keeps its brown tone and visible fibre. It carries one- and two-colour printing, solid logos and drawn lettering in a craft register that speaks to buyers of farm produce. The 400 gsm sulphate board, matt coated on the outer face, is thicker and white: it takes photographs, deep solids and gradients without dulling them. The first sits close to the raw product; the second reproduces your brand colours as you approved them.
Available sizes
At 8 x 8 x 33 cm the box is the narrower of the two and suits slim, tall bottles. The 9.5 x 9.5 x 32 cm version leaves more room around the diameter, for wide-shouldered bottles or for adding packing around the neck. Measure before ordering, taking the widest diameter and the height with the cork or cap in place. Further options sit in our bottle packaging range, within the wider packaging section.
Finishing and printing
The design is printed on the outside of the box. On kraft, the board colour joins in: inks blend into the brown and whites remain unprinted areas. On matt coated sulphate the white starting point gives sharper contrast and a surface that reflects very little light.
Preparing your artwork
300 DPI, CMYK, 2 mm of bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. Work flat on the cutting plan and mark the folds: text straddling an edge becomes unreadable once the box is assembled. On kraft, expect quieter colours than on screen, as the board absorbs ink.
2M Numérique at your side
These boxes leave our workshop in Manciet, in the Gers, south-west France: 100% Made In Occitanie, a local production that means something for a regional product, and one we describe in our responsible approach. Send us the dimensions of your bottle and we will check the template with you.
