Which paper for your desk easel calendar?
A desk easel calendar sits within arm's reach and its pages are turned twelve times a year, so weight matters as much as finish. The 170 g silk coated paper is enough for everyday office use: it turns easily and stands steady once flipped over. The 250 g silk coated paper gives a firmer sheet, pleasant to handle, that will not curl in a humid room. Gloss coated stock, in 170 g or 250 g, lifts photographs and solid colour, worth choosing if every month carries a project shot or a landscape. Silk stays readable under office lighting and takes a pen.
Available sizes
A5 (14.8x21 cm) is the common choice: room for an image on top and a clear date grid below. The 29.7x10.5 cm format is wide and low, taking up little depth on a crowded counter; it suits stripped-back planners with the logo set to one side. Both belong to our promotional calendar range, alongside the rest of our stationery.
Binding and finish
The wire binding comes in three ring colours. Black suits everything and disappears behind the artwork. White lightens a calendar built on pale backgrounds. Silver works with restrained brand palettes and technical subjects. The finish stays standard, with no lamination, so the surface still takes a handwritten note.
Preparing your artwork
300 DPI, CMYK, 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin. Allow a wider margin on the bound edge: the punching for the wire takes up the top of every page.
